Real Adventures. Real Conservation. Real Story to Tell

Aloha! PacWhale Eco-Adventures is Maui’s original eco-conscious whale watching and snorkel tour operator — and we’re also the on-the-water arm of Pacific Whale Foundation, a 501(c)(3) marine conservation nonprofit that’s been researching and protecting whales, dolphins, and the ocean since 1980. Every tour we run helps fund that research, which means every  guest (and every piece of content) is part of something bigger than a great day on the water.

We’re inviting a small group of Instagram and TikTok creators who genuinely love the ocean to come aboard PacWhale, experience Maui’s marine life up close, and help us share that story with a wider audience — all while modeling safe, respectful, and responsible ways to enjoy whales, dolphins, and the sea.

What You'll Receive

A Front-Row Seat to Life on the Water

Creators selected for the program get firsthand access to PacWhale’s tours and the conservation mission behind them, including opportunities like:

  • PacWhale Excursions — Join us on the water for whale watching, snorkeling, or ecotour experiences around Maui, guided by our marine naturalists.
  • Behind-the-Scenes Access — See how PacWhale’s crew and Pacific Whale Foundation’s research team work together, from responsible whale-watching practices to real humpback whale monitoring and habitat protection.
  • Storytelling Support — Our team will brief you on the science, the ʻāina (land and sea), and the “why” behind each PacWhale experience, so your content is accurate as
    well as beautiful.
  • A Platform for Purpose — The chance to align your content with a trusted Maui tour brand backed by a respected ocean conservation nonprofit, and reach an audience
that cares about sustainability and marine life.

[Note: exact perks — comped tours, travel support, gear, honoraria, etc. — should be confirmed with the team before this goes live, since none of these were specified. This section can be tightened once those specifics are locked.]

In return, we ask that you share your PacWhale experience authentically with your followers — showing the wonder of Hawaiʻi’s marine life alongside the conservation story that makes it possible, and modeling responsible, low-impact ways to enjoy the ocean.

Who We're Looking For

Ocean-Minded Storytellers

We’re looking for Instagram and TikTok creators who are as passionate about the ocean as we are. Ideal partners:

  • Create content around ocean life, travel, sustainability, science, or Hawaiʻi
  • Have an engaged, authentic following (rather than simply a large one)
  • Can speak credibly and respectfully about marine conservation, cultural sensitivity, and Native Hawaiian values
  • Support responsible wildlife viewing — no chasing, touching, or crowding marine animals — and share PacWhale and Pacific Whale Foundation’s opposition to keeping whales and dolphins in captivity
  • Are comfortable creating content that’s educational as well as beautiful, not just scenic

[Note: if PacWhale wants a minimum follower count or engagement rate threshold, similar to the reference site’s “10,000 followers,”that number should be added here once decided.]

How to Apply

Ready to Make Waves?

If you’re excited about using your platform to share PacWhale’s adventures and the conservation mission behind them, we’d love to hear from you. Fill out the form below and tell us about yourself, your content, and how you’d like to help share the PacWhale (and Pacific Whale Foundation) story.

Mahalo for your interest in helping us share PacWhale’s adventures — and Pacific Whale Foundation’s mission to protect whales, dolphins, and the ocean we all call home.

    Sustainability Practices

The majority of our catamarans run on biodiesel, we compost all food waste using compostable bags, and our onboard cutlery, cups, and plates are reusable metal and dishware washed daily. The cocktails, coffee, and beer served onboard are locally sourced from Hawaiʻi, supporting island businesses while reducing our supply chain footprint.
